IPL REJUVENATION & LASER VEIN

with the Candela Nordlys

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photo Skin Rejuvenation is a treatment for brown spots, redness, age spots, broken blood vessels, and rosacea.

IPL devices use multiple wavelengths of light to treat sun-induced changes on the face, including brown pigmentation, age spots and broken blood vessels.

WHAT IS IPL SKIN REJUVENATION?

The Nordlys machine uses state of the art light technology to deliver a range of skin care treatments. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), also known as a Photofacial, uses light energy to target pigmentation and vascular markings within the skin. The light energy heats the skin and stimulates the body to eliminate unwanted cells.  Once the light has hit the targeted pigmentation, it begins to surface. As the cells surface the skin, they begin to flake off. Leaving skin looking flawlessly rejuvenated with a more overall even tone.

HOW DOES IPL & LASER VEIN WORK?

Clients must have a consultation with one of our certified staff members prior to booking an IPL or Laser Vein appointment. We offer partial spot treatments (5 spots or less), as well as full area treatments. Clients who are ready to receive the treatment will have a layer of protective ultra sound gel applied to the area before the hand piece is placed on the skin. This prevents the skin from being burned. The licensed technician will then begin pulsating the light in linear movements across the treatment area. Post treatment, a hydrating and or stem cell serum will be applied to help calm the skin and promote healing.
